Youth ages 10 and older will learn the basics of metal casting in this hands-on workshop. Participants will make simple molds out of clay and sand, then use the molds to cast small pewter sculptures. The program also includes a visit to the galleries to examine metal objects on display and learn about the history of metal working in the Valley. Led by MSV Manager of Youth & Family Programs Curry Schiavone.
