Enjoy a display of prize-winning orchids, browse orchids available for purchase, and learn about growing and caring for orchids from the experts in the Lord Fairfax Orchid Society. Bring your problem orchids in for suggestions and have your orchid repotted (small fee). Free lectures on a variety of orchid topics will be offered each day.
During the event, the Museum Store will spotlight ceramic artist Barbara McCulla and her distinctive pottery. In celebration of the Orchid Show & Sale, Barbara will offer one-of-a-kind handcrafted orchid pots available for purchase. Enjoy informal conversation with the artist and learn about the sgraffito technique she uses to decorate her work.
