Shop with a purpose on Museum Store Sunday!

Meet over a dozen regional artists and artisans as you browse a wide variety of treasures including fiber work, pottery, jewelry, baskets, leatherwork, ornaments, carved Santas, and more! Demonstrations throughout the day include wood carving, jewelry making, leather stamping, and live drawing/painting.

In the Museum Store, you will find a fully stocked gift selection including pottery, fine art, quilts, decorative glass, puzzles, jewelry, holiday ornaments, and scarves. Find just the right book for the history lover on your list or a tasty treat made locally at Shawnee Springs Market & Cannery or Holy Cross Abbey for your favorite foodie. Gift admissions are always perfect for holiday giving and can easily be added to any purchase in the store. You’ll be sure to find something for everyone on your list all while showing your support for the MSV!

Every year on the Sunday following Thanksgiving, over 2,100 museum stores across all fifty states, DC, twenty-five countries, and five continents offer inspired shopping to connect their community with their mission. Museum stores offer distinctive products made, designed, and provided by local artisans, designers, publishers, and other small businesses. This purposeful practice not only offers locally sourced items to museum visitors and store customers, but also helps to support and sustain local businesses and the community at large.

Admission is not required to visit the Museum Store.
