Beat the heat by taking a walk through some of the shadier portions of The Trails at the MSV while discussing the plants and wildlife that thrive in these shady conditions. This behind-the-scenes look at the Trails will be led by MSV Deputy Director of Operations and Director of Gardens Perry Mathewes.

Perry Mathewes
Perry Mathewes is the deputy director, museum operations and director of gardens at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. Mathewes has more than 25 years of experience in the museum and public garden field. He studied at the Université Paul Valery in France and has a B.A. from Davidson College, NC.
