Stop by the MSV for this special evening reception and meet Kerry Stavely, Laura Thompson, and Ruby Kauffman Hostetler, the artists behind the current Art in the Halls exhibition Come and See. Enjoy informal conversation with the artists and learn about their work, inspirations, and process.
On view through September 8, 2024, Come and See presents “Floral Worlds,” mixed-media works by Laura Thompson that combine painted flower backgrounds with meticulously cut and placed vintage collage elements; intricate fiber and macremé works by Ruby Kauffmann Hostetler inspired by the movement, color, and shape of the natural world; and abstract paintings by Kerry Stavely that explore color, marks, and texture. Several of the works on display are available for purchase.
Admission is not required to attend or enjoy the Art in the Halls exhibition. Light refreshments will be served.
