Tickets include admission to the galleries building, including the special exhibition National Geographic Photo Ark and the just-opened exhibition Contributions: African Americans in the Shenandoah Valley. Tickets are redeemable between now and February 13, 2022, the final day of the Photo Ark exhibition. Reservations are not required. Discount tickets are not valid on Wednesdays or February 12, 2022. The MSV is closed Mondays. The house and gardens are closed for the winter and will reopen on April 1. 2022. Tickets are one-time use only and will be scanned at admissions desk.

Admission is free to ages 12 & under. MSV Members receive free admission to all exhibitions and need only to present membership cards for entrance; tickets are not required for members.

While this discount promotion ends on February 13, 2022, the amount paid for these tickets never expires and may be used toward future, in-person, general admission purchases (not applicable for Gardens at Night/MSV programs). This offer is only available online. No refunds.

The MSV is closed on Mondays, Thanksgiving Thursday (Nov. 25), December 24 & 25, and January 1. Hours of operation are 10 a.m.–5 p.m. through December 31 and 11 a.m.–4 p.m. through March 31.
