Virtual Lunch & Learn: The Valley’s Medical History

For centuries people in the Shenandoah Valley have turned to the medical knowledge of their time and those who practiced it in the hope of living longer and better. During this program, MSV Curator of Collections Nick Powers will discuss some early figures in the history of Valley medicine and what surviving objects tell us about their lives and the lives of their patients.
